Own an Accuquilt but are afraid to use it? This club is for you. Come in on the third Wednesday of the month and join us in sharing projects and discussing tricks of the trade. Each month a new block or technique will be demonstrated. Just show up for some fun.

Learn the basics of free-motion quilting in a hands-on, supportive class. You will cover sewing machine set-up, strategies for success, and five basic designs that do not require marking. Leave with a new confidence and the urge to quilt a whole quilt yourself. A $10 deposit is required to sign up, the remaining $50 is due the teacher at the time of the class.

This is a first class for beginners. In this five week course, you will learn how to use the rotary cutter, how to piece accurately by finding the perfect quarter inch, and the correct way to iron your blocks.

Learn how to make the perfect quilt binding in this class. Let's all get those quilts done!

Block printing on fabric is a perfect way to create beautiful handmade items with your own personal flair. The first day, you will learn to create and transfer a design, carve a block, and print your own fabric with a design of your choice. On the second day, you will create tiled or repeat designs as well as print with more than one color. Designs will be provided in class for your selection, but you are welcome to use original designs of your own as well. Instructions for an optional tote bag project or a wall hanging will be provided if you would like to make something in class with your hand printed fabric. You can also print yardage or smaller strips of fabric for use in future projects. No prior experience is required, and all skill levels are welcome. These techniques can also be used to print on paper if you like using slightly different materials.

You can choose from the Christmas themed or Fruit Stand Chenille Potholders both design packs are so cute with their three dimensional elements . Entire project is made in the hoop- the applique, quilting, even the chenille stitches. These unique, decorative and functional hot pads come in 6 different designs to choose from and 5 different sizes.

This is going to be so much fun! Each month you will pick up a baggie filled with 30 squares. With these squares, you will build a block using 25 of these squares 5 x 5 rows. Bingo will start at 10:30 am. The first one to complete a row of 5 (up, down, sideways or diagonally will receive everyone's quilt block. If you win, you will have enough quilt blocks to create a table runner or quilt.

Have you got a machine that was given to you, was purchased online, or you have had for a long time and forgotten the basics? We here at Village would be happy to teach you. Our "Learn to Master Your Machine" is a class offered for basic sewing machines and runs for 1 1/2 hours on Thursdays. Please give us a call to schedule.

The fourth in this series of embroidery. In this class you will learn how to apply an embroidery on the back of a pre-made item. NO T-SHIRTS OR KNITS. This is for a cotton shirt (like a man's shirt), a pair of jeans, or a jacket (my favorite is a denim).

In this class, you will be making two different projects, a Hanger Accessory Zipper Bag and a Monogrammed Towel Bag. This will be a great class for a refresher on how to put zippers in, embroidery placement and combining and modifying designs. The second project is all about embroidering on towels. You will be embroidering on a hand towel with the beach towel inside. These are great gift idea class.

From the book Quilting Row by row with 27 skill building techniques. With 11 rows, the goal is to have a completed quilt by the end of the year.
