Learn how to get more from your machine as well as enjoy friendships around sewing.
Learn about threads, stabilizers, needles, design combinations, and the effects of embroidery on different fabrics and fibers. See a new project each month on the Fourth Thursday of each month, and be inspired about your own embroidery . THERE WILL BE NO EMBROIDERY CLUB IN DECEMBER.

A club for quilters of all levels. Learn new techniques from fellow club members as well as show 'n tell your own project. Learn how to make a different project each month, on the second Wednesday of the month, and receive the instructions to go home and do it! There is no Quilt Club in November, January or February.

Own an Accuquilt but are afraid to use it? This club is for you. Come in on the third Tuesday of the month and join us in sharing projects and discussing tricks of the trade. Each month a new block or technique will be demonstrated. Just show up for some fun. PLEASE NOTICE THE NEW MEETING TIME!

Bring your Bernina sewing machine and lets make a project or just share your project and take a free pattern home.

This is a first class for beginners. In this five week course, you will learn how to use the rotary cutter, how to piece accurately by finding the perfect quarter inch, and the correct way to iron your blocks.

If you are a newbie to the sewing world, this class is for you. You do not need a machine to take this class, we can have a machine for you to work on. Here, you will learn how to choose and coordinate fabrics, measure and cut, sew and finish seams with this fun and simple project. This Quick and Easy Pillowcase is sew much fun to make, you will want to make them for friends and family.

If you have taken "Project Pillowcase" and are ready to move to the next step, or, if you have a basic understanding of sewing (i.e., you know how to use your machine and have done some general sewing), this class is for you. This class revolves around making a pair of pajama bottoms. You will learn about the grain of fabric, laying out and cutting a pattern then sewing together.

Learn how to make the perfect quilt binding in this class. Let's all get those quilts done!

Edge-to Edge quilting technique makes this placemat project so easy. Edge-to-Edge quilting is a simple technique that gives you wonderful results. The end result is beautiful machine embroidery that looks like a long arm quilter finished your quilt. We will be embroidering our one yard of fabric all over, applying machine embroidered applique designs, then cutting the fabric into 4 pieces and voila 4 place mats.

This is going to be so much fun! Each month you will pick up a baggie filled with 30 squares. With these squares, you will build a block using 25 of these squares 5 x 5 rows. Bingo will start at 10:30 am. The first one to complete a row of 5 (up, down, sideways or diagonally will receive everyone's quilt block. If you win, you will have enough quilt blocks to create a table runner or quilt.

Free "Introduction To Sewing" is a hands-on, three hour sewing class. If you want to try your hand at sewing to see whether it is for you, or it has been a very long time since you have been at a machine, this is the class for you. You will operate a sewing machine provided by us and learn basic sewing skills. There will be new and fun projects every month. Minimal supplies are needed and you may use your $10 refundable deposit toward your purchases. Deposit will only be refunded when you attend class. Fabrics for the project will be available for you to purchase only at Village Sewing.

In this class, you will experience the adventure of developing a quilting plan. In a "choose your own adventure" style, you will work through a variety of exercises to learn to analyze, strategize and implement a unique quilting plan. Students must be confident beginners to advanced quilters. You will be focusing design rather than the instruction on how to quilt. However, some quilting will be done during class. This class is for those of you who look at your quilt top and say "Now what?"

Have you got a machine that was given to you, was purchased online, or you have had for a long time and forgotten the basics? We here at Village would be happy to teach you. Our "Learn to Master Your Machine" is a class offered for basic sewing machines and runs for 1 1/2 hours on Thursdays. Please give us a call to schedule.

This is a Machine Embroidered thread catcher. Did you miss taking this class the first time? It is back by popular vote. Debi has made quite a few of these and every one is different. These make a great gift because of the gorgeous embroidery on every piece. Make yours with the additional detachable pin cushion on the top, if you want.
